Welcome to Episode #1 of "My Life Remembered" with Rev. Jack telling us why he choose this unique way of sharing his auto-biography. "As I enter the final season of my life, I most enjoy reminiscing fond memories with dear friends. By as each year passes, I notice there are fewer and fewer friends to remember with.
I am also aware that many of my friends no longer remember their own stories. Dementia or merely memory loss can rob us of moments of joy, accomplishment and loved ones.
I don't want to forget a thing. Therefore, I am recording my own stories, so that, should I forget, I will be able to listen to them, and just perhaps that will be the catalyst for my remembering what an incredible life I lived.
The stories I tell are to me, by me, and for me. However, if they inspire you that's great too! And, if they empower you to tell your own stories, well then that is magnificent.
